Our inspiration: a childhood fascination
My journey with stained glass began in childhood, mesmerized by the intricate variations of windows and suncatchers, always wondering about their creation. I was particularly drawn to the iconic designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. While living in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, I discovered a local advertisement for a six-week class that taught the basics of stained glass window making. That class ignited a lifelong passion, transforming a childhood curiosity into the foundation of Hopewell Glass.
